Replacement Window Benefits

Replacement windows aren't just for show.

There are many benefits to replacing your old windows with new, energy-efficient windows – both in the short and long-term. At Aspen Home Improvements, we offer the highest quality windows to meet your needs – and even exceed them!

Here are just some of the benefits of your new windows –
This replacement window we installed can look
great and add great benefits for your home!
  • Energy Savings. One of the biggest advantages to replacement windows is saving on your energy bills. Energy-efficient windows help reduce and prevent energy loss from your windows by keeping your home more insulated, helping you save on your next energy bill.
  •  Curb Appeal. New windows can provide an instant boost to the look of your home. This also helps boost the value of your home in the long-term. In fact, replacing your windows can provide a great return on investment if you’re considering selling your home in the future.
  • Less Maintenance. Replacement windows require less work than old, broken windows. Old windows can require fixing leaks, repairing the frame, and other maintenance issues you don’t really have the time to fix.
  • Home Comfort. You should be comfortable in your home, and replacement windows can help. Replacement windows help prevent excess heat from sunlight, air drafts from entering your home, among other issues that can arise from older windows.
  • Longer life for furniture, carpet, etc. Not only will replacement windows help you save on energy, but they’ll also help you save elsewhere around the home. How? By allowing in too much sunlight, old windows can speed up the fading process of furniture, carpets, etc. Replacing your windows can help you save on having to replace your faded furniture and carpets.
Not only will you be receiving these great benefits with your new windows, but you’ll also be taken care of by our award-winning services.

If you’re interested in replacing your outdated windows, why not consider a free estimate? Request a free estimate for your window replacement project or other home project – including door and siding – needs. It just requires a simple click on the button below!

Aspen at the Ride In Bike Show

Aspen Home Improvement fans – where were you this weekend?

This Saturday, we were at the 2nd Annual Ride In Bike Show hosted by the American Legion Riders Post 537 in Morgantown, Pa.

The main draw of the event were – of course – the riders and their bikes. Those in attendance entered their bikes to compete for several awards being given out across several different categories, including American Sport, Commander’s Choice, and the Valor Clinic Best in Show.

Guests also enjoyed live music, food, and several auctions held throughout the day.

Although the bikes were certainly a hit, the best part of the event was the $600 raised for the Valor Clinic Foundation, a group dedicated to supporting Veterans. A portion of this came from a raffle, while the rest came from the support of other local businesses in the area.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out, and an even bigger thank you to the American Legion Riders Local 537 for putting everything together and allowing us to attend!

Check out our Facebook and Twitter pages to stay updated on the upcoming shows and events we’ll be attending! We hope to see you at the next event!

Summer is here! Replacing your doors and windows

Are you looking to save on your energy bills?

With summer weather right around the corner, it's essential to be energy-efficient to save on your home's cooling costs.

So what can you do? A simple replacement of your windows and doors could help you save more in the long run. According to Energy Star, replacing single-pane windows could save you up to $465 a year on your energy bills - a worthy investment for any homeowner.

Here are some basic tips to help you know when it's time to replace your doors or windows -

1. Does it look damaged? If the surrounding area looks damaged - peeling/flaking paint, water stains, etc. - it could be time to replace your door/window. These could be signs your windows or doors are allowing too much moisture to pass through - a true sign your windows or doors need replaced.

2. Is your door/window difficult to open? Maybe your door/window is difficult to open, or perhaps it's difficult to keep open. Both could be signs you need a replacement. Difficult-to-open or stay-open doors and windows allow air to easily pass through, costing you on your energy bills each month.

3. Is your carpet or furniture looking faded? This could be another sign your windows need replaced. If your carpet or furniture look faded, it could mean your windows are allowing too much ultraviolet rays into your home. Switching to more energy-efficient windows could help you save your carpet or furniture - and your energy bills, too.
